ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED ALL THE MODULES AND THE ACCOMPANYING FINAL ASSESSMENT OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE YOU WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY EMAILED YOUR CERTIFICATE IN THE NAME AND TO THE ADDRESS YOU ENTERED.

This Course comes in 4 simple modules, which must all be successfully completed to receive your SafeCert Level 1 certification at the conclusion of your efforts.

This Child Safeguarding essentials course is designed to provide five basic learning outcomes:

  1. The difference between Child Protection and Child Safeguarding

  2. What is Child Abuse

  3. Types of Child Abuse

  4. Clarifying Myths about Child Abuse

  5. Your Role in helping Safeguard Children

There are four Modules designed to do this:

  • Module 1 – Safeguarding Priorities, where we discuss the difference between child Protect and Child Safeguarding.

  • Module 2 – What is Child Abuse, where we discuss the broad categories of abuse and what signs to look for.

  • Module 3 – Abusive Impacts, where we look at the effects of abuse and clarify some myths concerning the subject.

  • Module 4 – What’s Our Role, where we detail how you can help create a safer space for children to play and compete in.
